Double Parked is a free, browser-based parking jam puzzle game — a polished take on the timeless sliding block traffic jam logic puzzle. Every level is a verified logic puzzle that rewards planning and spatial reasoning. As you progress, the parking lot fills with more vehicles and trickier jams, steadily ramping up the challenge for fans of brain games and strategy puzzles.
This is a classic sliding block puzzle — a parking jam brain teaser. The crowded parking lot is gridlocked. Your job is to clear a path so the red target car can slide off the grid through the glowing exit on the right.
Drag a vehicle with your mouse or finger to slide it. Each vehicle can only move along its own lane — horizontal cars slide left and right, vertical cars slide up and down. Cars cannot turn, jump, or pass through one another. Release to snap to the grid.
Prefer keys? Click a car to select it, then use the arrow keys to slide it one space at a time. U undoes, H hints, R restarts.
Relaxed — every level is unlocked, moves are unlimited, and nothing is ever lost. Play any puzzle in any order.
Challenge run — starts at level 1 and works upward. You get 5 lives and a move budget on every level (par plus a cushion). Blow the budget, or restart a level, and it costs a life. Clear a level at par to earn a hint back, and every 5th level cleared returns a life. When the lives are gone the run ends and your score goes on the leaderboard.
Each cleared level pays 100 points, 50 per star, 10 for every move you finished under budget, and 5 per level number — so the deeper you get, the more each puzzle is worth.

Par is not a guess. Every puzzle is solved by a breadth-first search before you ever see it, and par is the true shortest solution. Hints run the same search from wherever you are, so a hint is always a move on some optimal path — never a nudge in the wrong direction.
